Down in Destin . . .Florida!! For Spring Break!
Reviewed By: Riley
For Spring Break, Riley had an unforgettable trip to Destin, Florida with five of her best friends and their moms. Despite Florida’s reputation for wild Spring Break parties, Destin proved to be a perfect, family-friendly destination that offers plenty of fun for teens who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.
Hilton San Destin Beach Golf Resort and Spa
Located in Miramar Beach, Florida, The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa is part of the larger Destin region, known for its beautiful beaches, golf courses, and family-friendly atmosphere along the “emerald coast.” Riley shared, “The resort had a very nice pool area, which included a hot tub, so we could relax after a long day at the beach. It was also extremely convenient how close the beach was to the resort (walking distance). The resort had numerous food and drink options which all had great service and tasted very good!” Check out the video below for a walkthrough of the GINORMOUS room!
Crab Island with Crab Daddy’s Pontoon Rental
“Having a boat with not one but two water slides was so unique and unlike anything I’ve experienced before! We even got the opportunity to spot dolphins up close while on our boat ride to Crab Island! The captain was so kind and helpful. We got a dessert from a boat at Crab Island which was also unique and fun!”
Marina Cafe
“The food at the Marina Cafe was outstanding! I ordered the ravioli, and it was the best I’ve had! The service was really great, and it was overall an amazing dining experience!”
Ruby Slipper Cafe
“I had banana French toast, and it was to die for! I loved this cafe because it was like an old diner interior but still very clean and up to date! The service was great, and the food was absolutely amazing!”
The Back Porch Seafood Restaurant
“I loved all the bright colors in the restaurant and it was very welcoming and cheerful! It was right on the beach, so we got an amazing view, and the weather was great!”
The Pancakery
“I loved the food and I’m a sucker for pancakes! It totally satisfied my sweet tooth, and I would definitely recommend a nice breakfast here!”
Overall Experience
“My trip to Destin, Florida was so amazing, especially as a teenager! I was able to make so many new friends and the beach itself was fantastic! 10 out of 10 recommend!”
Destin, Florida, provided a safe and family-friendly atmosphere where teen girls were able to have a blast while enjoying a fun and unforgettable Spring Break.
